We couldn’t be prouder of founder and member James Edward Shippy for his nomination for an Ensemble Acting Ovation Award for his performance with his castmates in Neighbors, a fantastic and provocative new play about a family of black actors- truly minstrel performers- that moves in next door to an upwardly mobile African-American academic and his white wife and daughter, and the explosive outcome of this confrontation.
